Apartment house Jager in Srednja vas, on the edge of Triglav National Park, is a great starting point for nature walks and mountain hikes. All apartments (except one) have a balcony, fully equiped kitchen and many modern appliances (direct phone, SAT TV, hair-driyer, microwave, storage for bikes and skis, shoe-heaters). There is a house bar in the apartment house. We organize various sports programmes and trips which include our own taxi service.

The bus station is only 200 meters away, the railway station is in Bohinjska Bistrica, which is 6 kilometers away, as is ski resort Kobla. The nearest ski resort, Senožeta, is in our village and mountain ski resort Vogel is 7 kilometers away. There are two grocery stores in the village, two restaurants with slovene food and a great pizzeria.

In winter Bohinj offers many different sports activities: ski centres »Senožeta«, »Kobla« and »Vogel«, cross-country skiing on Pokljuka high plateau (50 kilometers of tracks), skis and ski-equipment rent, ski-touring and ski school. During summer we can organize hydrospeed, kanyoning, kayak, rafting, paragliding, climbing, mountain-bike tours, hiking, fishing, tour guiding… You can also rent a horse and go cross-country riding on a nearby ranch or you can swim in Bohinj lake (the water temperature is up to 24°C), you can use several hotel swimming pools or visit aqua-park. The area offers unique variety of meadows with its flowers and herbs, whereas forests have an abundance of wild mushrooms. Or you can just simply go for a stroll and enjoy the nature.
